BIOGRAPHY
The first confinement in France had a virtue, it allowed me to throw myself into the water...or rather into the oil.

It had already taken me too many years to get into sculpture. It took me 6 years more for painting.

Self-taught, choice of oil by challenge then by pleasure, the portrait imposed itself naturally to me.

Beauty of the eyes, sensuality of the mouth, a face is painted as it is sculpted: shadow and light, hollow and full. Care for detail or rough appearance, the brush glides over the canvas as the tool models the clay.

The gaze transmits many feelings to us, it also makes us travel. I try to capture these expressions to transmit them to you in turn and take you elsewhere.

The port I am out of is La Rochelle (France) but my adoptive one is between Rhône and Saône since more than 20 years.
